School visits

Would you like to explore a unique and exciting museum where reality and illusion blend to challenge how we see the world?

At Museum of Illusions Cairo, students experience mind-twisting rooms, optical installations, and interactive exhibits that make subjects like math, science, art, and psychology come to life. Through light, color, mirrors, and perspective, abstract concepts become visual, fun, and unforgettable.

The visit is fully interactive, encouraging both students and teachers to engage with the illusions — by observing, touching, and becoming part of them. It’s an immersive experience that sparks curiosity and critical thinking at every turn.

We also encourage photography during the visit. Playing with angles and capturing illusions helps reinforce the learning while creating memorable and shareable moments. So don’t forget your phones — they’re tools for both creativity and exploration.

A Great Experience for Everyone

Multiple classes may visit the museum at the same time, and we do our best to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
We kindly ask teachers to actively supervise their students and make sure they are considerate of other classes.

We encourage you to discuss and reflect on the experience with your students during and after the visit, and to take plenty of photos, capturing illusions helps reinforce learning and makes for great memories.

Our staff will be on-site to assist with any practical or educational questions, and we appreciate your help in ensuring students follow the agreed schedule and museum guidelines.

Where to Eat Lunch

Eating is not allowed inside the Museum of Illusions.
We recommend having lunch before your visit. Alternatively, you can enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants and cafes located just outside the museum in Walk of Cairo.

After the visit

Back in the classroom, we recommend using the photos and videos captured during the visit as a starting point for discussions around science, art, math, and perspective.
Reflect on the experience as a group, what surprised them, what they learned, and which illusions stood out the most.
